The LRF offers internship opportunity to final year law students and fresh law graduates, social science, education and mass communication department students at national level. It provides an opportunity to the intern’s to equip themselves with professional skills. In the specific area of work intern’s work at the LRF and its Fellows Offices for research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, reports writings, assisting the senior management in authoring publications besides honing their skills as required by their job preferences. In cases of fresh laws graduates especially attention is placed on drafting, preparation of court cases, case law research, and communications skills required for effective advocacy. They also assist the bro bono lawyers in lower courts cases for acclimatizing themselves with the litigation environment and understanding court procedures. An emphasis is given in ingraining ethical values in professionals conduct and development of ethical integrity in the interns. The LRF has built the capacity of 1880 fresh law graduates, social science, education, mass communication department students as intern across Pakistan since 2007 to June 2016. The LRF Fellowship is offered to those law graduates, social science, mass communication and education department who successfully complete their internship and who have shown interest to lead the vision and mission of LRF and willing to involved in advocacy, providing pro-bono legal services, community paralegal trainings, promotion of progressive independent media, quality education for all and legal awareness to the marginalized communities.
The Fellows formed the hub of LRF presence through their activism at grass roots level in promoting democracy, justice, peaceful and inclusive society. LRF has offer Fellowship to those interns who successively complete their internship and willing to lead LRF vision and mission. LRF had declared their fellows 414 across Pakistan since 2007 to 2016. The Legal Rights Forum seeking new 03Women Governing Board Members with relevant skills and expertise to join LRF as volunteer of Governing Board Members and help us to achieve our Objectives. This is an opportunity for those women with an interest in strengthening the Rule of Law, Access to Justice and promoting and protecting Human Rights in Pakistan.
We would particularly welcome individuals women with expertise in organizational development and management; grant seeking from donors, governments and corporations; communications experience particularly working with media. She will be complement and strengthen the our existing Board.
