Legal Protection Network

LRF has taking initiative by founding Legal Protection Network (LPN) which consists of 40 young women advocates from various districts of Sindh. These young women lawyers are professional legal practitioners on women rights and child rights. This network is established after the successful completion of one year project ‘Supporting Women to Join Law Enforcement and Judicial System in Sindh’. This Project was awarded to LRF under the theme of promoting access to justice and human rights of Gender Equity Program of Aurat Foundation in Collaboration with the Asia Foundation and financial support of USAID. These young women lawyers is also the part of women lawyers network.

LRF achieving the objectives of the LPN join hands multi donors for launching ceremony of the network major funding by Actionaid Pakistan. This network had successfully completed pilot project of selected 05 Unions Councils of Malir and 05 of Thatta for the legal empowerment of the poor, access to justice and ending violence against women with the financial support of UNDP/UNOPS/INP.
