Mr. Muhammad Anis Danish a senior developing professional and has been involved in the social development sector since 1985. He is currently serving as Program Officer CSSI at LRF. He holds Masters Degree in Sociology from University of Sindh. He has participated in various professional development programs and completed training programmes.

Muhammad Anis Danish an expert in social development networking, project proposal writing, report writing and monitoring and evaluation, dissemination of information, organizing development dialogues/forums and developing material for trainings is a genuine value addition to the world of social development sector, with his rich background in the fields social networking, capacity building, event management. He provides the most needed dose of unconventional yet effective and practical solutions to social development problems. As a social networking expert, he liaisons among different organizations, provides the required information. Earlier he worked as Program Officer at Trust for Voluntary Organizations. He worked with Urban Resource Center (URC) as Assistant Coordinator. He has worked with Raasta Development Consultant and in Orangi Pilot Project (OPP).

He has also worked for Muslim Aid UK as Provincial Coordinator – Sindh for one year, where he led the team for project implementation and conducted social economic studies in Sindh and Balochistan. He joined Civil Society Resource Center (CSRC/NGORC), A project of Aga Khan Foundation, in May 2001 as an officer to and his initial responsibilities were to design operational activities, coordinate with media and press, conduct training programs with their material, prepare reports, network with different organizations, and maintain the database of training events. His promotion as an information & outreach officer increased his responsibilities.

He compiled booklets on Safety Guidebook for journalists and editors and Governance for Non Profit and wrote articles on projects managements for NGORC Journals. He is Executive Council member of Urban Resource Center. He is the Focal person of Karachi Chapter of Human Resource Development Network (HRDN). He is executive member of Health And Nutrition Development Society (HANDS). He also got executive membership of Dialogue for Development Forums. He is Honorary Finance Secretary of Women’s Development Foundation (WDF). In April 2013, he has selected steering committee member for the ECD network in Pakistan.

He was awarded Performance Award for the year 2005 in NGORC which is the project of Aga Khan Foundation. His outstanding contribution was recognized by Lyari Community Development Project therefore he was given recognition shield. HANDS also recognized his efforts and awarded him an appreciation shield.
