Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Ahmed is the Chairperson of LRF. He is Chief Executive of the leading nonprofit organization HANDS (Health And Nutrition Development Society). He is a medical graduate, holding Master’s in Public Health. He has done his fellowship from Public Health Institute Santa Cruz California. His unique experience of working as Public Health Educationist and Development specialist is spread in a canvas of thirty years, during this period he has been working with a donor agency (USAIDS), Public sector (Health Department-Government of Sindh) and a National Non-Governmental Organization (HANDS). His distinctive job position has exposed him to enormous understanding of grass roots realities and the National & International policies forum. His 20 years of consistent leadership of HANDS has developed it in to a fascinating integrated development model, working in 24 districts of Pakistan with staff strength of nearly 2000. More than 25 papers are on his credentials, presented in international conferences, held in different countries. He is also the writer of 23 publications on Development & Public health issues.

Dr. Khalid Iqbal is a prominent child specialist and social activist of Pakistan. He has been more than twenty five year professional experience in the field of pediatric. He is a member of various national and international organizations. He is life member of Pakistan Pediatric Association. He is involved in research work of pediatric nutritional and common disease. Now a day he is working with as a Chief Executive Officer of Kharader General Hospital Karachi. This hospital run on charity basis.

Mr. Shoiab Safdar Ghumman currently working with Prosecution Department Government Sindh. He is also online activist and prominent (Urdu) Blogger. He has done LLM in International Law from Karachi University. He is also doing PhD form same university. He is devoted for the promotion and protection of human rights issues. He is a founder member of LRF and he has volunteer working with LRF as governing board member since June 1, 2007.

Muhammad Munaf Allana belongs to business communities and social activist. He is President of SHED Foundation. He is working for the promotion of basic rights such as health, mentally ill, person with disabilities, senior citizen and primary education nationwide. He is volunteer working with LRF as a governing board member since 2012.

Muhammad Rahib Lakhoo is an advocate since 2004. He is human rights and legal aid advocate. He is working with LRF as a governing board member since December 2011. He is focusing as a criminal lawyer. He is also devoted for the promotion and protection of women and children rights and marginalized communities in Pakistan.

Ms. Hameeda Kaleem is a prolific - seasoned campaigner, activist and practitioner in gender and human rights’ areas; an expert trainer, researcher, policy advisor and program management specialist with over 22 years of experience in international, regional and national social development context. She worked with several international missions, civil society, host country government institutions and corporate sector supporting the gender cause. Partners in her work list include World Bank, USAID, DFID, DAI, Institute of Inclusive Security, Oxfam Novib, Care International, NE, Plan International, Creative International, Shirkat Gah Women Resource Center, allied government offices to streamline gender and human rights’ issues. Currently, she is working on a USAID and Government of Sindh collaborated program on basic education with focus on girl child and community mobilization. Ms. Hameeda leads the program and policies as Gender Advisor.

Mrs. Farzana Shoib is the founder of Bint-e-Fatiam Old Home Trust. She is women right activists. She has working experience with women senior citizens in Pakistan. She is also experience with caring for homeless elderly, neglected senior citizen who have been living by their own and are spending their remaining days in poverty, misery and sickness. BFOHT not only provide the shelter and its valued services to senior citizens these are also for survivor of gender base violence.

Muhammad Tahir Iqbal Malik is a prominent Human Rights and Legal Aid Advocate. He has done LLM in social legislation from Karachi University. He has developed policy papers in the field of strengthening the rule of law, improving criminal justice system, and legal aid, women and children rights in Pakistan. He has also developed training manuals and capacity building resources for women legal-socio-economic empowerment, women lawyers, judiciary, prosecution and police. He is devoted for the promotion and protection of women, children, minorities, transgender and person with disabilities rights. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legal Rights Forum since June 1, 2007. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including Human Rights Activist Award from Govt. of Pakistan which recognizes those who have made extraordinary contributions to the cause of human rights, rule of law and good governance. He has also working experience as a consultant with UNODC, UNOPS, UNDP, Federal Ministry of Human Rights Sindh Region, and Law Justice & Commission of Pakistan, Bar Councils, Bar Associations, District Courts, Sindh Human Rights Commission, Law Department, Social Welfare Department, Labour Department, Police Department, Prosecution Department, and Women Development Department. He has won competition Justice Makers Fellow Ship 2008 of International Bridges to Justice Geneva Switzerland.

Mrs. Saima Tahir is working with LRF as a Research and Capacity Building Officer since June, 2012. She has done LLM in criminology from University of Karachi in 2007. She has done her research work on Child Rights in Pakistan. Her area of expertise is and advocacy, research and capacity building on child rights, women rights and paralegal experts; research on woman and child rights issues in Pakistan. She is a child and women rights activist and dedicatedly working for the children and women empowerment in Pakistan. She is a master trainer and has built the capacity of more than 700 women on Labour rights, children rights and paralegal expertise. She has good contributions in LRF’s development of all research papers related to women and children.

Mr. Hasnain Raza Shah Tahir is an experienced development practitioner and researcher having 25 years work experience in the development sector including his last assignment with UN FAO and UNODC. He has done Masters & MPhil and holds 03 international and 16 national training certificates. He has served reputed national and international organizations in Pakistan at key positions including UNODC, UN-FAO, SDPI, Oxfam GB, Shirkat Gah, SCOPE, etc. His subjects of interest and expertise include Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Human Rights, Land Rights & Governance, Sustainable Livelihoods, Women Rights & Empowerment, Gender Equity, Environment, Climate Change & Adaptations, Community Resilience; Disaster Risk Reduction & Management and networking.
Mr. Shah has demonstrated experience of managing projects, developing programs, and delivering research/advocacy tasks. He possesses Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in joint teams with strong independent capacity and decision-making skills. His other experience includes fund raising, proposal writing, data analysis, writing/editing reports, monitoring, event management, networking and moderation of electronic discussion forums. He has completed more than 50 significant research/advocacy tasks and participated in a number of international and national events as a resource person. He is Member of several international/national bodies and have been to 20 countries across the globe for a number of times.
He is currently working as Senior Program Manager at legal Rights Forum (LRF) in Karachi and is overseeing the administrative as well as technical aspects of all ongoing programs/projects of the organization including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program/project activities; formulating Strategic Plan of the organization and monitor its implementation; and developing future programs/projects accordingly in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
He is also involved in different research, development and capacity building projects as consultant associated with UN, INGOs and other national NGOs.

Mr. Manzoor Ahmad is a development professional having master degree in IR & Islamic Studies. He started working in development sector by contributing his voluntary services to charity based organisation since his college life 1990s. His passion towards developing the human capital have led him to work as a development professional in the development sector. Initially, he started his journey as Project Manager at LRF. His keen interest in HR & Admin department led him to acquire a core position of LRF as HR & Admin Officer. He served in the same capacity since last two years. In due course, he has facilitated many trainings, workshops and conferences organised by LRF or its partners. Mr. Manzoor believes in empowering the human capital and strengthening the community as an unit and a world at large.

Mr. Muhammad Ali has been working with LRF since 2018. He has vast accounts and finance experience in diversified nature of accounting industries, which spans over 20 years. He is currently leading the Admin & Finance Department of LRF. He has played key role to streamline accounting procedures in LRF as per donor requirements and implemented software based accounting system to run day to day affairs. His multidimensional personality coordinates the Finance Team with Admin and Program Teams. He prepares budget in consultation with program team and senior management. He plays vital role in submission of donor reports in timely manner. He facilitates the external auditors in conducting Annual / Project related Audit and he also present Audit Reports before the Management Committee. He has made remarkable contribution during LRF’s due diligence conducted by its financial partners over the past years. He continuously monitors the financial activities of the organization.

Ms. Mehwish Hina is working with LRF as a Communication Officer on Women and Youth Empowerment since 2012. She is an expert on women and youth rights. She is closely working with Government Departments of women development, social welfare, labor, and minorities. She also work with minorities, persons with special needs and transgender. She is very good campaigner on women rights focusing women workers, women right to land, and GBV issues etc. She has worked as a Master Trainer and in this capacity, she has built the capacity of 546 women workers on their rights. Her profound experience and knowledge have enabled her to organize a number advocacy events about women and youth and she has contributed her share in spreading awareness and implementation of Sindh Youth Policy 2018.
